test schedules, upcoming class projects, and everything History.
ABOUT L.T.S. HISTORY
7th Grade History begins the school year discussing the 5 themes of Geography, Ancient Civilizations, and the Age of Exploration. We continue throughout the year covering major topics such as the American Revolution, the creation of the Constitution, the development of our young nation, and ultimately a war over states' rights, slavery, and the power of the federal government that would change our nation forever.
8th Grade History starts the school year off after 1877, when the Reconstruction Era had "officially" ended and thousands of Americans quickly began to take the journey out West in hopes of a new beginning. We later investigate important themes such as industrialization in the United States, immigration, World War I, The Great Depression, World War II, Vietnam, and the Cold War.
